Our History

METALSKALA FEST began its journey in 2019 with a clear objective: to deliver a unique experience to hardcore and metal enthusiasts. From its beginnings organizing concerts in León, the festival quickly won over audiences with its authenticity and high-quality musical lineup. 

From León to Vitoria-Gasteiz: Unstoppable Growth

The success of the first two editions encouraged us to take the festival to new heights. In 2024, METALSKALA FEST celebrated its third edition in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital of the Basque Country. This city, renowned for its rich cultural and musical scene, provided the perfect stage for an event that was already becoming a benchmark in northern Spain. 

METALSKALA IV: Bigger Than Ever

The fourth edition of METALSKALA FEST, scheduled for November 22, 2025, marks a new chapter in our history. This year, the festival will be held at the iconic Sala Jimmy Jazz in Vitoria-Gasteiz, featuring increased capacity and a lineup that includes top international artists.
